Organ Donation saves lives. This video was made for the organization Lifeshare Carolinas and commissioned by Carolinas Medical Center-North East in Concord , North Carolina . The videographer is Jeff Childers. On Easter Sunday, 2007, my sister received the gift of a new heart and a new life thanks to the selflessness of Emily Kay Compton's family. This piece is not only a tribute to Emily, but serves to stress the importance of signing a donor card. We have been forever changed thanks to Emily and her family. We still have Debbie and thank God every day. God bless your spirit, Emily. We are most grateful to have our "sister of the heart" included in our family. Your message needs to be shared.
